Further to my previous email, I am writing to provide an update for the pre-surfacing civils works currently taking place in Foxcotte Road, Charlton. Due to the current poor weather conditions, the works are now expected to be completed as per below,

Phase 1 – The roundabout with Foxcotte Lane using a road closure between the hours of 07:30 – 18:00hrs.

  • 28th – 30th October 2026.

Phase 2 – In the extents of Hatherden Road to property No. 48 Foxcotte Road using multiway traffic signals between the hours of 07:30 – 18:00hrs.

  • 30th October 2026

Please note – No works will be taking place on Foxcotte Road today.

The carriageway resurfacing works are still programmed as per my original correspondence to you.

While the schedule allows for potential delays, adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances may still lead to short-notice changes.
